Physical Therapy FAQ
Do you accept insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Coverage varies, so I recommend checking with your insurance company. I cannot guarantee reimbursement, as it depends on your plan’s out-of-network benefits.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept credit/debit card electronic payments. Full payment is due prior to scheduling a session. Packages are to be paid in full prior to the first session.
Do you offer in-person sessions?
At this time, I am only offering virtual sessions for NJ residents only. Virtual sessions are conducted through a HIPAA-compliant video platform to ensure privacy and security.
Do you accept clients from any state?
I can only provide physical therapy services to clients living in New Jersey, as I am licensed to practice in NJ. If you reside outside of NJ, I recommend finding a provider licensed in your state. However, my sleep consulting services are available to families nationwide.
Is the Soft Spot assessment included in your services?
Yes! Soft Spot assessments are FREE for all my physical therapy clients.
Sleep Consulting FAQ
What is sleep training?
Sleep training is the process of teaching your baby to fall asleep independently and sleep for longer stretches. It’s not about leaving your baby to cry alone, it is about providing the right tools and support to help them develop healthy sleep habits.
Will there be tears?
Yes, there might be some tears, as change can be hard for babies. Crying is a natural way for them to express frustration, but I’ll help you find an approach that aligns with your comfort level while still being effective. Sleep training is about supporting your baby through the process, not leaving them to figure it out alone.
Do you use a one-size-fits-all method?
No! Every baby and family is different, and I create custom sleep plans based on your child’s temperament, your parenting style, and your family’s sleep goals.
Can I sleep train while breastfeeding?
Absolutely! You do not have to stop breastfeeding to sleep train. I’ll help you balance nursing and independent sleep so you can continue feeding in a way that works for you and your baby.
Do you offer ongoing support?
Yes! My Standard and Premium sleep packages include ongoing support
Can I sleep train if I am bed-sharing?
I respect every family’s choice when it comes to sleep arrangements. However, my sleep training methods are designed for babies sleeping in their own safe, separate sleep space, as recommended by the AAP. If you’re transitioning from bed-sharing to independent sleep, I’d love to support you in that process.
